Personal Power

5 steps to being more authentically you

August 1, 2013

The origin of the word authentic is ‘authorative, self master, original, genuine, authority of it’s original creator’.

It’s connecting with the original you, direct from Source and expressing that through the experience of being human. It’s a journey of uncovering your truth and being true to that which you uncover.

It’s an ongoing journey beyond the layers of the ego and in the process being aware of your defences, limitations, fears, barriers etc that come between you and your most authentic self. It’s not so much getting rid of the ego, but more like knowing it, owning it and rising beyond it. By being honest with what your strengths and weaknesses are you are being true your process and building the muscles of integrity and authenticity.

Who you are today may be different to who you were five years ago or will be five years from now. But the more you honour who you are in each moment, the more you grow and deepen your trust, truth and connection to life.

When you are present to each moment you get to experience the beauty of life as something that is happening through you as opposed to outside of you. You feel the oneness and connection to all, rather than separation and isolation. You become more attuned to your authentic self, because you’re not in the past or the future – you’re one with all that is.

Being yourself sounds obvious and easy, yet we’ve been so conditioned to ‘fit in’, be accepted by others and meet certain expectations that we often land up taking a back seat in our own lives. We think that we are being ourselves, but in fact have hardly really taken the time out to intimately get to know who we are; what we want; what we like; what we actually don’t like; who we want to spend time with; who we don’t want to spend time with; what our dreams are; what our fears are; what brings us joy; what brings us pain; what we really feel; what makes us feel alive; what trips us up, and so the list goes on…

The more we get to know our selves, the more we get to make conscious choices and design our life according to what we really want rather than being on auto-pilot.

1. Be Still

We’re not called the Human Race for nothing! In today’s fast-pace world, very little time is spent in stillness and solitude. More energy is spent on building our outer world than our inner world, yet we can’t create what we truly want on the outside if we don’t invest in our internal world. Fulfilment, peace, contentment, love, security, etc are unsustainable if we rely on others or external circumstances to provide them for us.

When you start becoming those virtues – fulfilled, at peace, content, love, etc. you stop needing to control and manipulate your world and discover a beautiful freedom that becomes your new way of being.

We often use ‘busy’ as an escapism… a distraction so we don’t have to face our truth. Facing one’s truth can be scary – less waves are made in a shallow pond and ignorance is way more convenient. Yet the more you keep running, the louder the ‘voice’ becomes. It either manifests in the body causing, stress, anxiety, pain or illness, or on the outside as accidents or events that may seem ‘outside our control.’  Sooner or later, you’ll be forced to see your truth – you get to decide how long that takes.

When we’re still, we allow what needs to arise, giving us the clarity and awareness as to what’s really going on for us. We can then take empowered action rather than be in reaction to life.

  • Get into nature. Nature is the most authentic expression of God/Source. By being still in nature we naturally align with our own divinity and a certain clarity begins to burn through the fog.
  • Get out of your head even for 5 minutes a day. Place your hands over your heart and drop your awareness into that space. No need to analyse or find solutions. Just feel. The heart is the gateway to the soul… that’s where our truth lies  – we can’t think ourselves clear.

Don’t make excuses that you don’t have time to be still. You don’t have time to not be still.  If you don’t make time for you, your body will make time for you.

2. Feel and Get Real

You can’t clean the dirt without first seeing it and accepting it’s there.

To get in touch with who you really are and what you want, you have to be honest with yourself. We can justify and lie to ourselves about anything so not to have to face our truth. When we ‘re not honouring our truth it can show up as:

Avoidance, disconnection, illness, fatigue, self righteousness, defensiveness, depression, stress, anxiety, people pleasing, fixing, anger, victimhood, addictions – food, substance, exercise, technology, anything that feeds us with instant gratification and gives us a quick fix.

We’re masters of self-deception and can lie and justify our way through most of our blind spots. The best lie-detector is our body, when anything’s amiss we usually feel it there first… shortness of breath, anxiety, stress.

LISTEN TO YOUR BODY! When an unpleasant feeling arises, don’t try and mask over it. Sit in it. Feel it. Where is it in your body? Breathe into it. Any symptom is a message from your body to address something. Feel it, acknowledge it. Start a conversation with your body. “What are you trying to tell me?” Listen. You’ll be amazed at the answers that ‘land’ in your awareness.

Your body is always trying to communicate with you, it’s your greatest teacher. You can either ignore it and try cover up the symptoms with medication and prolong the inevitable or listen to the message it has for you. Honour your body and it will honour you. Look after your body and it will look after you.

When you start feeling the uncomfortable parts, they give way to insight and clarity. When you stop suppressing what you don’t want to feel and rather embrace and feel it all, you allow everything you do want to feel to come to the surface too. Making friends with your ‘shadow’ is a key step towards wholeness.

The Deeper we feel the Deeper we heal.

3. Stop worrying about what others think

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind. Your life is your unique journey and if you don’t honour it, no one will. Whatever people think of you has got more to do with them and less to do with you. Some people will judge no matter what, you may as well just be who you are. If you lose some friends along the way, then that just creates space for the more like-minded, energised connections that you’re really wanting. The more you accept and love yourself, the less you judge yourself and the less you project those judgements on to others. Most of the time people are too wrapped up in their own lives to be bothered about what you’re doing anyway!

Of course it doesn’t mean you stop caring about others and valuing their thoughts and opinions, it just means you learn to trust your self and honour your own truth, while being open enough to receive advice. When you make decisions using your heart as your measuring stick, you build trust and integrity within yourself and increase your intuition. The more in touch you are with your own heart, the less you need to give your power over to others to decide how you live your life.

You’re the one that has to wake up into your life every day, you may as well make it one that you’re excited to live!

4. Throw your identity out the window

Be willing to drop whoever you think you are completely! Yes, I know, not so easy as our beliefs have been so deeply ingrained in who we think we are that we hardly ever question them. Yet if we had to let go of everything we thought about ourselves and the world we’d have fresh new eyes to see beyond the limitations of our beliefs and make new choices that resonate more deeply with who we are.

We so easily label ourselves by our profession or what we do.” I’m a mother, life coach, designer, energy healer, etc”. but actually I’m none of those. They’re simply ways that I get to experience and share who I am with the world and there are countless ways I can do that, so why limit myself? When we get too attached to our identity we block the flow of endless opportunity and possibility that is available to us.

Who you are is way more unique and special than any career or title you have. Who you are is pure Light and Love and you get to spread that Light any and every which way you want.

5. Live from the heart

Being true to who you are and what you want requires the courage to honour that and take action accordingly. Whatever you feel in your heart deserves to be expressed and brought to life.

Do more of what brings you to life, gets your juices flowing and connects you to your bliss. When you live from your heart, what doesn’t match up begins to fall away and you start attracting more of what resonates with the real you.

Being real often means feeling vulnerable in a world masked with fear and disconnection. Like a snake that’s shedding it’s skin, the new skin can feel tender and exposed. Yet the courage of vulnerability and being true to your spirit has the power to penetrate the superficial, allowing others permission to be true to themselves.

When you are coming from a place of authenticity you live and share your truth, not because you think you know better than anyone else, need approval, or have something to prove. You share it because through expression of spirit, you get to experience the joy of being alive, being uniquely you and touch others lives in ways you may never know.

Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.” ~ Dr Seuss

Living your Bliss!

July 11, 2013

I remember a specific climb in the Cederberg called ‘The Abyss‘, a grade 22, which at the time was my hardest Redpoint* attempt (*a term in climbing which means leading a route to the top without falling or resting on the rope).

I had told my (very accommodating) friends, “I am not leaving here until I send this route”. I had the desire and the determination, but did I have the mental and physical strength and stamina? This route has an easy beginning, a ‘pumpy’ overhanging middle section and then it’s the crux (which is the hardest move on a climb.)

Well I got spat off that crux about four times! I’d get there pumped and adrenalized and either mess up the sequence or just not have the strength to pull through it. Each time I’d come back down and start again… knowing that the chances of falling (or rather failing) again were pretty high.

But I had said I’m not leaving until I get this and after around four attempts the sun was now close to setting. This was my last chance. My heart was racing, my weary body was saying “really? You’re really going make me do this again?”

I dig deep, chalk up and go regardless.

Breathing slowing and deeply to calm my nerves and centre myself,  I make my way up to the overhang, pull through the roof and get to the crux.

Ignoring the complete tantrum that’s going on inside my head, I shove my hand in the rail. Grip the little crimper on the right. Place my toe on the tiny little edge, while my leg is shaking like a sewing machine. Stand up. Reach for the crimper to the left. Swap feet. Reach for the hold to the right and …“OMG I’m sticking this hold!’

I quickly get to the next rail and the realisation that I’ve got through has suddenly hit and the pressure to finish the route has set my adrenalin into overdrive.

I have to slow down my breathing to keep it together and focus carefully on each move so I don’t go mess up now right near the end. My tenacity overrides my fatigue and pulls me through to the top of the chains. The final clip. Yesss!!!!

The exhilaration and relief washes through me as I watch the sun set over the Cederberg mountains.

This is what it means to be ALIVE!

Living your bliss is about living your truth, finding what fuels your heart and letting that be the compass that guides you. Each one of us has unique gifts to share with the world – we all have a purpose. I believe that purpose is for us to each awaken to our most authentic selves and forge a path that is guided by our true heart’s desires.

In order to find your truth though you have to face everything that’s not in alignment with that and be willing to let it go. You have to leave your comfort zone and have the courage to deal with the biggest obstacle in your path, YOU.

When you honour your heart you’ll be compelled to live more and more in service of it. The desire is strong, the determination is there, but you still need to get off the ground.

We’ve been programmed to survive. We are wired with a Psycho Cybernetic Mechanism that rings an alarm bell every time we go out of our comfort zone. Any deviation sends neural transmitters which create doubts, fear and anxiety to bring us back there. It’s safe, it’s predictable, it’s … boring. But it doesn’t know whether we want to stay there or not. It doesn’t know that growth requires us to move beyond that comfort zone. It’s job is to simply bring us back there.

Familiarity a powerful force in human beings and without over-riding and re-setting this mechanism we don’t get to experience and express our fullest potential.

Survival is so prehistoric… we’re here to THRIVE. Yet it’s not easy in a world that’s been governed by external success, money, security and needing to be ‘realistic’. People are so busy trying to fit into system that our education has primed us for that we don’t often ask ourselves “Am I deeply fulfilled and ALIVE to the core of my being?” And If not, “what am I going to do about it?”

I’m sure you’ve experienced those moments when you’re lying in bed and you have an epiphany – a great idea. You get soo excited… you can’t wait to get up and begin your new project, your new life! Nothing is going to stop you…

And then… you wake up.

What were you thinking? And the list of a million reasons why you can’t do that begins to unravel. The flame in your belly has been instantly snuffed and you spend the rest of the day deflated in the smokey aftermath.

Our analytical mind has to be the greatest killjoy there is. Granted he has his place in the world, but given half the chance, he’ll gatecrash and poop all over any party!

Finding your bliss is the one part, living it is the courageous part.

Living our truth is not always easy, we have to stretch ourselves, challenge our old programming, shift our beliefs of ‘not being worthy’, over-ride our fears of rejection and step into a power we never believed we had. But what is life if not lived and expressed fully and authentically?

So when I find myself facing yet another crux on this majestic mountain I am climbing, I have to remind myself…

In order to follow my bliss, I need to be willing to leave the ground behind me.

When feeling defeated, to dig deeper and find that inner strength and perseverance that I know I have.

When I fall, to get up, chalk up and find another way.

When my head starts making a noise, to take a deep breath, re-centre and just focus on my next move.

And when I’m at the top, I’ll set my sights on the next route because life isn’t linear with a beginning and an end, it’s more like a spiral taking me deeper and deeper to the core of who I am as I peel back the layers.

It’s an inner journey that isn’t happening around me, but rather through me as I intimately connect to each moment – the fear, the doubt, the pain, the joy, the exhilaration.

That’s what keeps me on the rock and that’s what keeps me ALIVE!

2013: The big squeeze into expansion

April 1, 2013

In mid-2012 I wrote “What on Earth is going on? about how we’re moving into a new era and what that exactly means. Shortly after that it was the Venus Transit bringing us an opportunity to heal the feminine consciousness which I shared in “Can you feel the Change? Now a third of the way into 2013 after having entered the Age of Aquarius, some may be wondering, “Where is this so-called New Earth?” The old dies hard and below may be what some of you have been experiencing this year.

We’re in the throes of great change and upheaval. The energy of an old paradigm is dissipating and we’re left feeling unsteady as we adjust to a new vibrational frequency.

The dust of an old world is still hanging over us, leaving us in the dark, not able to clearly see what lies ahead. The light is brighter but it’s shining in the corners of our unconscious minds, illuminating our shadow and bringing to light what needs to be brought into balance.

At times it may feel like we’re lost out at sea, treading water as we venture towards the unknown beyond the horizon. The sea is choppy and the more you resist and fight the currents, the harder the journey becomes. Your fears, doubts and antiquated beliefs will weigh you down and weaken your efforts of getting to shore. You’ll feel like you’re drowning if you don’t cut them loose. Embrace the unknown like a child, letting wonder and curiosity keep you light and buoyant.

There is no going back, what’s left behind is crumbling away and what lies ahead is whatever you choose to plant in your imagination. Allow the currents to wash through you and clear out the old debris, leaving you open to new possibilities. This isn’t a peaceful lake that you’re drifting down… it’s stormy, tumultuous and there’s nothing solid to hold onto. You have to BE that something solid – you’re out at sea on your own, with no one to blame anymore. You’ll be experiencing what you‘ve been projecting on the outside, on the inside now. It’s time to clean ship. Your emotions are intensified as you’re forced to face and embrace ALL aspects of yourself.

Although this may feel overwhelming at times and met with resistance and avoidance, you’ll soon discover the best way to get to shore is to surrender to the process and flow with the tide. Face what needs facing – forgive, let go and let the grieving process of what you’ve left behind crack open your heart to reveal your true power within.

Use your inner guidance and intuition to lead you to shore. Just because you can’t see what lies ahead yet, doesn’t mean it’s not there. Keep trusting that the more you’re willing to let go of the fears that are keeping you anchored to what you left behind, the smoother your journey becomes. There will be sea serpents and dragons to slay along the way, but with each encounter and swipe of your sword of courage, you’ll build more confidence and power until you move past them with greater ease.

You may experience vulnerability and instability as currents quicken and intensify but trust that this all part of awakening to your authentic self. There will be reefs in between where you get to rest and integrate your higher consciousness while enjoying the fruits of your hard work before you’re back treading more water. Sometimes it’ll feel like you’ve covered some distance only to feel pulled back again by the current and wonder if you’re making any ground.

It’s like peeling back the layers of an onion as we go in a spiral deeper and deeper to our core. Issues we may have thought we’d resolved re-appear with an extra layer of intensity and opportunity to clear more completely. Welcome this opportunity and trust that if you are feeling squeezed, it means you are growing – expansion is always preceded by contraction.

As our planet keeps shifting into a higher frequency we’ll feel like everything is speeding up… what used to take weeks to process can take days or hours. We’re moving through our stuff quicker which can feel all-consuming, yet we’re also manifesting quicker so be conscious of your thoughts, as they are the seeds of your future.

Our New Earth is like a computer operating system that has been upgraded but if you’re still running on old software, you’ll have incompatibility issues and eventually hang (get stuck). Your old programming is obsolete in this new paradigm.

While we’re in the process of ‘upgrading’ there’s a time of integration and of being in the void – and we’ll do anything not to sit in the unknown, we’ll dance around it in avoidance (a void dance). We don’t want to be in the dark, we don’t want to feel what’s not happy, joyful, blissful, certain, exciting. And we’ll analyse why we may be feeling out of sorts, give ourselves reasons and justifications… anything to not actually FEEL. And so it simply perpetuates. There’s power in the ‘I don’t know’, use it as a time to get to know who you are and what you want on a deeper level.

Feel it. Own it. Love ALL of you. We’re moving from the separation of duality into unity and Oneness… accept all polarities without judging them to be good or bad. Before anything was labelled, it simply was. Labels create division within and between our selves and the world. Accept and embrace all that you are with compassion and only then can you be free to be completely you.

The resistance is your ego fighting to hold on to what it knows and the more that gets illuminated, the more desperate it becomes at clinging on. When you notice you’re in resistance, ask yourself “what belief am I holding on to that is keeping me stuck?” What ‘BS’ story are you telling yourself? Your story will reveal the belief you are holding. (BS = Belief System!)

You are being called to live up to your highest potential… dissolve the walls, release the fear and let your heart and soul guide the way. No more hiding from yourself or the world, you are here for a reason and it’s time for your soul’s full expression.

Your head will continue to get in the way if you still believe that it is in the driver’s seat. It isn’t. Your heart is your power… it is the flame that will ignite any of your ideas and bring them to life. Dare to be braver than your fears. Dare to be freer than your limitations. Be the warrior that you are, with courage as your sword, cutting through the inner barriers and obstacles so to reach your home of infinite power and Love.

The energies are here to activate the wisdom of our heart-mind, reveal our light and learn to live in the world with our feet connected to Earth, our hearts connected to each other and the Divine Light flowing through us. We have access to every possible reality within us and we get to decide what that reality is. We can choose to run the old software with all the glitches and keep dancing around the void until we eventually crash. Or let go of that old programming and upgrade to the new heart-based OS.

All the while remember, you are the swimmer and you are the shore. There is no ‘getting there’, it’s more a matter of logging out of the old conditioning that caused you to forget who you truly are and why you are here. Be in your body, in your heart, in your truth. Don’t let the outside picture distort your inner knowing. Things may look and feel scattered and unsettled, but trust that soon after the dust storm, the dust comes to settle and new life begins to grow and flourish!

Question everything?

February 4, 2013

In the age of Information we have a universal library at our fingertips. We can research any topic from candy floss to chemtrails. Everyone and their cat has a blog or site sharing their interests and perspectives, each one de-bunking the other. So where does that leave the viewer? You have to discern what’s true for you based on your own beliefs. Yet how can you be open to entertaining new information if you’re still desperately clinging on to your old beliefs?

Are you open to entertaining new information and uncovering new possibilities? Or do you hear something and default to your original belief, dismissing anything contrary as nonsense?

As a ’truth seeker’ it’s my natural curiosity to delve beneath what is presented to me as the status quo and dig a little deeper. We are brought up in an educational system that encourages us to accept everything as gospel without any question. We are then required to regurgitate it back in parrot fashion for the ultimate reward of approval.

Growing up I never had the courage to speak up against what didn’t make sense to me… let’s face it, it’s hard enough fitting into the system, never mind being an outsider. Over the years I’ve learned to honour my own truth based on what resonates with me, rather then what I’ve been taught to believe and accept. Speaking out against the thread of common knowledge does, however, often meet with huge resistance. Few people are open to hearing anything outside their basic understanding of what they believe to be true.

How to lose friends and alienate people… Be different

There comes a time though when you realise that you cannot be anyone other than you – that you’re you for a reason and by not sharing your ‘you’ness, you’re doing humanity an injustice. Why else would you be here if not to share who you are with the world? There’s no one else that can be you so stop trying to please and meet the expectations of others at the expense of your ‘you’niqueness. It’s truly empowering and liberating to be able to stand up for your self (who better to do that than you, right?) and live into who you really are, as opposed to the showing the face you think you need to present to the world in order to be accepted.

Why should we question everything?

It’s necessary to keep re-evaluating what’s true for you and what’s not. Beliefs can pass their sell-by date and no longer be relevant. Holding on so tightly to an old belief as if it defines who you are can limit your growth and freedom. It’s like a snake who’s skin is too tight, constricting and stunting his growth. By shedding his skin he’s able to expand and move more freely with comfort and ease until that skin becomes too tight, and so he keeps shedding and growing.

We just have to look at religion to see how some people hold on so tightly to their beliefs that if someone else believes any different, it’s worth killing and dying for.

We do not see the world as it is, but as we are. We receive 400 billion bits of information per second via our senses which then gets deleted, distorted or generalised based on our internal filters (beliefs, values, emotions, etc) down to only 2000 bits of information. This limited perception is how we see the world.

For example if you believe it’s hard to make money, you will receive all the information that confirms that it’s hard to make money. When you begin questioning your beliefs as to whether they are actually serving you or not, you open up to a whole range of new possibilities.

This is true not only for the personal beliefs we hold, but for our global beliefs too. Like I said, Question everything…

One person’s common sense is another person’s bullsh!t

For me, it makes sense that proper nutrition, nurturing thoughts and Love can cure an illness. Others see toxic chemicals such as chemotherapy, radiation and medication as a means to achieve health. Why? Because Doctor’s say so? And a pharmaceutical industry worth $600 billion a year wants you to believe that?

I believe our minds and bodies are so powerful that people can get better, not from medication, radiation and chemical toxins, but despite them.

It’s safe to say that I don’t generally agree with conventional medicine. (Eek, there I said it.) That doesn’t make me wrong or right, it just makes me, me. The question is do I keep my views to myself and ‘play it safe’ or do I share them? By offering new perspectives perhaps I get others to think out the box, to uncover their own truth. Empowerment is one of the greatest gifts I believe anyone can give themselves.

The first stage of learning is called ‘Unconscious Incompetence’ – When you don’t know that you don’t know.

In 1949 Cigarette adverts carried taglines such as “More Doctors Smoke Camel than any other cigarette.” Not so long ago, it was socially acceptable and ‘normal’ to smoke while pregnant. It was commonplace to smoke in aeroplanes, cinemas and restaurants.

Things have evolved so rapidly in the past few decades how can they not continue to evolve, that when we look back in 10 years time we’re probably going to be thinking “Wow, can you believe we used to think that that was OK?

If I dare mention the harmful effects of GMOs, pesticides, additives, etc I usually get met with the common response of  ”Well we grew up with that and there’s nothing wrong with us”. Really? So then why are so many people fighting cancer, ‘incurable’ diseases, depression and having heart attacks?

It’s pretty sad to think that people have accepted this to be ‘normal’ – that being depressed, anxious, ill, having some type of disorder and being medicated is a standard way of life. Our bodies are designed to heal themselves. We are not separate from nature, we ARE nature. Our bodies are created to live in harmony with our environment… we are one of the same. Our dis-ease comes from the separation from who and what we fundamentally are.

Our bodies were never designed to process Genetically Modified Organisms. They were never designed to process artificial colourants, flavourants and preservatives. They were never designed to process toxic pesticides that are so freely used on all our produce.

Yet we consume ‘food’ every day that is so far removed from what food really is and wonder why people are struggling with physical, mental and emotional issues. People complain and say “but organic is so expensive“. Compared to what? Cancer? Medical bills and health insurance? Lifelong medication? A compromised lifestyle?

Are we really so apathetic and disconnected from our own common sense that we continue to destroy our bodies, thinking we can just take a pill to counteract the imbalance? Or have we been brainwashed for so long that whatever the food corporations throw at us and the media pumps out has to be ‘the truth’.

Or are we indifferent because on a deep subconscious level we all carry universal beliefs of “I’m not worthy”, “I’m not good enough”, “I’m not deserving” and we’re unconsciously in self-destruct mode?

…Just asking

Whatever mainstream society claims to be true is clearly not working. People are unhappy, disconnected, depressed, unhealthy, sick, poor and stressed. This means that there’s a fundamental chasm in the system. Yet do we continue plastering over it with more of the same? Or do we get to the root of the problem and create a more balanced, whole, happy and thriving society?

Your life, your body, your health, your well-being and your happiness is your responsibility, no one else’s. It’s time to stand in your power and make choices that honour your right to thrive, not just survive.

Question everything… ask why? Ask how? Do the research. FInd your own voice and share your uniqueness with the world. If we all respected everyone’s perspectives without the need to impose them on others, this world may be a richer, more authentic and peaceful place.

Find your own truth and be your own leader!

What are your thoughts? Should we be keeping quiet, thinking who are we to speak our truth? Or should be be having open discussions about the things we dare not speak about? Should we continue debating whether Brad and Angelina are going to go the distance? Or should we be discussing the fundamental questions in life… like ‘where do we come from?’ ‘Why are we here?’ ‘Is Chuck Norris really human?’ Ha, OK skip the last one…

But seriously, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Why it’s crucial to claim your power!

September 19, 2012

Our planet is undergoing immense upheaval at the moment… we all are. For so long now we’ve been living under the rule of oppressive forces, oblivious to the control they’ve had over us – from the food we eat to the beliefs and the decisions we make. Many are now waking up to the truth and demanding that things change. This is an exciting time in our history, yet also a chaotic one as resistance usually precedes any real change.

Often we’ll feel overwhelmed by the state of our planet, economy and the negative impact we, as humanity, are continuing to have on her. We tend to think “what difference could I possibly make?” and fail to realise that we ARE the difference.

We do have the power to change the world we live in. When we realise our true potential and step into responsibility instead of being the victim, that’s when things will really change. When we stop complaining about where we are as a race, and how it’s all a complete f@*k up, only then can we truly take back our power.

If we all decide that our reality is that the planet is going down the toilet, well then… flush… there it goes. It’s time to wake up, take ownership for what we’ve done and focus on a solution. The law of polarity insists that every problem has a solution – and the solution starts with us! As we step more fully into our own power and truth, we will naturally demand that things change in our environment.

The more that people are waking up, stepping up and showing up, the more that everything out of integrity is collapsing. We are the microcosm of the macrocosm… as we step more into our own authenticity and integrity, so we tip the scales of power from the dark to the light. We are all responsible for the momentum of that tipping, and it starts with claiming your own personal power and remembering the truth of who you are. You are here right now on planet Earth to help with this shift. You are that powerful and that important!

We may have days when we feel, “what’s the point?” and the point is that we’re here going through the chaos, making the changes we need to make on the inside, so that it reflects on the outside. Due to everything being energy, when we increase our own vibration, we increase the vibration of the planet, healing her and bringing her into balance and wholeness.

Having a WHY attached to any goal adds a deeper sense of purpose, compelling you to keep striving forward, knowing that your actions are fuelled by a greater vision. It gives me such joy and hope when I see people taking responsibility for their lives, facing their fears, taking the more challenging path of growth and speaking and living their truth. I see all you beautiful people, not only embarking on this journey for yourselves, but for Mother Earth, her creatures and the whole of humanity.

All the planet needs right now is for you to be you – the real you. To shine the light you’ve learned to mask. To be true to yourselves and others. To keep expanding your reservoir of power, increasing your vibration and inadvertently shifting the entire planet into the next dimension!
